The College Scholarship Info purpose is to provide assistance to students in financial need. The Bursary shall be awarded annually. The value of the J McLennan Bursary will be determined each year from the interest earned on the capital fund.
Applicants must have successfully completed a minimum of 105 tertiary credits.In the year of the award applicants will be enrolled full-timein a first undergraduate degree either internal, extramural, or mixed mode at any campus of Massey University.
College Scholarship Info Applicants must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
In recommending the award of a Bursary the University Scholarships Committee will take account of other scholarships and bursaries held by the applicant with a view to achieving a reasonable distribution of monies among qualifying candidates.
If there are not candidates of sufficient merit the Scholarships Committee may refrain from making an award.
At College Scholarship Info the discretion of the University, the annual interest may be reinvested to maintain the value of the capital fund, in which case no Bursary shall be awarded in that year.
Recipients may hold the Bursary more than once but must reapply on each occasion.
